When I was younger, Easter meant midnight mass and chocolate bunnies. That was life for two decades. And I loved it. Then my mom got sick and died and I turned on Easter. It felt empty and wrong. I was lost for a long time.
But then I realized I had to reinvent the day for my own sanity. I latched on to Paganism and all things earthy. And that was good for a while. The Spring Equinox, Ostara, renewal, baby bunnies, it all made sense.
Then I had small stepchildren and eventually a child from within, and Easter Joy returned, the chocolate bunnies returned, not the midnight mass though…
And so it was, for another two decades. And it was good…
Until now, my child is older, and cranky and frowns on anything chocolate or pastel. And for a while it made me sad [note to self, girls weekend next year.] But I now realize in true Easter form, it is calling me to transform the day yet again.
I have purged my house of booze and sweets so I am forced to sit alone at my dining room table where I have written most of everything for the past decade, and reflect. I would much rather be drinking a mimosa.
I am barely ankle deep in the study of the Gene Keys by Richard Rudd. It is thick-filled with archetypes and alchemy and the secrets within our DNA. As you know, that’s my jam and every page transforms lead into gold at it’s finest. As I go over my chart with reference book in hand, I have arrived at Gene Key 47-transmuting the past. The synchronicity of this book, every word and what is happening to me today, and this transformative week of Equinox, Full Moon and soon to be Solar eclipse going over my actual head is the stuff of great story.
And wouldn’t you know the goal of the 47th key is transfiguration and the passage is all about the crucifixion of Jesus and the resurrection of the Christ energy on our earth.
A Paraphrased Passage from The Gene Keys The 47th Siddhi as I sit alone on Easter Sunday:
If we can view his [Jesus’s] life on the symbolic level, we can see the great secret of all human life. He is the wayshower for every human when we hold back nothing and embrace everything. The 47th Siddhi reveals the ultimate purpose of the non-coding DNA within the body. The force of transmutation strips you emotionally and mentally to such an extent that it eventually reaches down into the physical matter of your body. Our bodies literally return to the starlight from which they are made.
Humanity stands upon the threshold of one of its greatest transmutations. As a species we are moving through the symbolic time of our crucifixion. Everything that is old, must leave the world as new light emerges.

Since 2020, we have continually unearthed new ways of being. 2024 has taken that trajectory and blown it up exponentially. Every month is brighter, more illumined for those that wish to see a new world, a new way of being.
This synchronistic connection to my higher self is my gift for not covering my feelings with booze as I have done so often in the past. And I would have done today had I driven to the liquor store. I am healing that ancestral line of alcoholism and rejection of true connection one Easter at a time but that is another post.
